New York started began to offer RFID driver license, called EDL, or enhanced driver license.  Now, bare in mind that RFID exist already on all new U.S. passport (click here if you need to renew).   “Authorities say no personal information will be stored or transmitted by the chip, only an identification number” … Mmmmm… how much of this is true?  But, I don’t want to be a conspirator, but you draw your own conclusion.  The cost for the thing is $30.
